HARINGTON, Thomas Cudbert. Public servant and landholder

Arrived per "Lynx" from India in June 1820; he superintended the estate of Elderslie for his brother-in-law, Captain Irvine, and received a grant of 600 acres in late 1821; he was a clerk in the Commissariat Department from April 1822 until 1824 and was appointed a magistrate in February 1825.
