HUME, Andrew Hamilton. Came free per "Lady Juliana", 1790

Arrived per "Lady Juliana" in 1790 and sent to Norfolk Island to help in the production of flax, returning to Sydney in 1792; appointed Superintendent of Convicts of Toongabbie and received a grant there in 1794; in 1798 he was appointed Storekeeper at Parramatta but was soon dismissed; in 1800 and 1808 he was appointed Superintendent of Livestock but was dismissed in both instances; he had settled with his family at the Hawkesbury and in 1811 was granted land at Appin.
